Thinky USA Inc. (Laguna Hills, Calif., U.S.) is exhibiting its highly efficient, noncontact mixing solution, Thinky Mixer, for simultaneous mixing and degassing of composites and epoxies, ensuring consistent, air-free results.

In composites and epoxy-based manufacturing, precision and purity are required. Whether formulating structural resins, potting compounds or thermally conductive adhesives, air bubbles and uneven dispersion can compromise performance and lead to costly rework.

Thinky’s planetary centrifugal technology mixes and defoams materials in sealed containers without the need for blades, stirrers or cleanup. This closed-container process reduces the risk of contamination, minimizes material loss and eliminates cleaning time — making it ideal for high-value epoxy and composite formulations.

For applications that demand even higher levels of void elimination, such as optical-grade resins or aerospace-grade composites, Thinky offers vacuum-integrated models. These units combine planetary centrifugal mixing with a built-in vacuum chamber, enabling enhanced degassing during the mixing cycle. The result, Thinky reports, is flawless material quality free from microbubbles and voids and ready for immediate use.

Thinky Mixers are compatible with a wide range of material viscosities and filler contents — from low-viscosity epoxy resins to heavily loaded or thixotropic pastes. The equipment is trusted globally for formulating carbon fiber-filled resins, ceramic-loaded adhesives, flame-retardant compounds and high-performance bonding agents.

Digital programmable controls ensure consistent results from R&D to production scale. For applications requiring ultra-low void content and optical or structural clarity, Thinky offers vacuum pump integration options.
