Chomarat introduces first C-Ply aircraft
France-based Chomarat, working with U.S.-based VX Aerospace, has developed the VX-1 KittyHawk, a 1:4 scale blended wing aircraft fabricated with Chomarat's C-Ply thin-ply, low-angle advanced composite reinforcement.

Spread-tow product line extended
Chomarat reports that it is extending its line of carbon reinforcements with C-WEAVE SP, a new line of spread-tow carbon fabrics for composite parts with high aesthetic performance requirements, especially in the high-end automotive, sports and leisure, luggage and telephone markets.

Chomarat announces new facility in South Carolina
