Infinici recycled glass fibers will be distributed in Europe, Turkey by Biesterfeld
Biesterfield will introduce Infinici’s recycled nonwoven composite materials to broader markets while also collecting glass and carbon fiber waste from customers.

Distribution and service companies Biesterfeld SE (Hamburg, Germany) and sustainable fiber solutions company Infinici (Hamburg) have announced the beginning of a strategic, long-term partnership. Starting Jan. 1, Biesterfeld will serve as the exclusive distributor of Infinici’s nonwoven products in Europe and Turkey. The partnership represents a clear commitment to fostering circular value chains and sustainable material management in the composites industry.
The first product to be jointly marketed, Infinici Nonwoven Fabrics (NWF-650), is made entirely from recycled glass fibers. The material’s CO₂ footprint is reduced by more than 90% — Infinici reports that each ton of NWF-650 saves 3 tons of CO₂ compared to traditional virgin glass fibers.
NWF-650 offers a diverse application range, ranging from automotive, shipbuilding and aerospace to wind energy and medical technology. The materials are specifically optimized for efficient series production processes such as resin transfer molding (RTM), vacuum infusion, glass mat reinforced thermoplastics (GMT) and sheet molding compound (SMC) and meet high quality standards, including IATF certification.

A distinctive feature of this collaboration is the introduction of reverse logistics: Biesterfeld will not only distribute Infinici products but also collect glass and carbon fiber waste from customers. These residual materials will be processed by Infinici into new, high-performance glass and carbon fiber materials.”
