CAMX 2025: BGF Industries is highlighting its range of versatile woven products for composite reinforcements, with materials, parts and literature available for viewing, as well as those from parent company Porscher Industries.

BGF Industries (Danville, Va., U.S.) is exhibiting versatile woven products for composite reinforcements including woven fiberglass, aramid and carbon fabrics, as well as composite parts made with thermoplastic prepregs from parent company Porcher Industries (Eclose-Badinières, France). BGF also has literature and examples of its synthetic peel ply, parachute, kite surfing, sail and paragliding fabrics produced by Porcher Industries.
BGF boasts a wide range of woven fabrics in various weaves and weights. The company’s fiberglass fabrics, woven in Altavista, Virginia, supply many applications including aerospace composites, tooling, armor solutions, automotive parts, sporting goods and baghouse filtration, to name a few. BGF’s aramid fabrics, also produced in Virginia, woven with Kevlar and Twaron fibers, are on display as well for use in applications such as vehicle armor, military helmets and battery ballistic protection. BGF’s carbon fabrics, woven in Cheraw, South Carolina, are also spotlighted. The company’s products span aerospace parts, sporting goods, medical devices and other applications.
Also exhibited are composite parts made with BGF’s carbon fiber fabrics, including an aerospace clip and a surgical nail guide. To help illustrate its prepreg and consolidation capabilities, BGF is displaying Porcher Industries’ wide variety of thermoplastic prepreg and consolidated plate variations, including carbon fiber and fiberglass fabrics consolidated with PEEK, PEKK, PEI, PPS, PC, PA66, PA6, PA12 and TPU resin systems.
Finally, BGF’s booth includes samples of its newly developed Texion- and BlockABlaze-coated woven fabrics and composite multilayered products for flame barriers and thermal insulation. These materials have high flame resistance and low thermal conductivity. When combined, BGF says its coated glass fabrics and nonwoven thermal insulation materials create a product that is greater than the sum of its parts. These combinations are ideal for high-temperature protection applications such as safety shipping containers, aircraft interiors and battery thermal runaway mitigation. Vertically integrated with lamination and die-cutting capabilities, BGF can design tailor-made products with these and other materials to target specific properties and markets.
