Embraer presents FACC with Supplier Award 2025
The 20-year partnership is reinforced by current projects in the field of aerospace, AAM, sustainability and composites.
During its annual Supplier Conference, Embraer (São Paulo, Brazil) awarded FACC (Ried im Innkreis, Austria) with the Supplier Award 2025 in the category “Outstanding Collaboration,” recognizing a longstanding partnership between the two companies. The award was presented to CEO Robert Machtlinger by Roberto Chaves – executive VP of global procurement and supply chain at Embraer.
Embraer and FACC have 20 years of successful collaboration. The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer is one of FACC’s top three customers, and FACC has served as a member of Embraer’s Supplier Advisory Council since 2024. To this day both companies maintain a broad cooperation, with FACC manufacturing business jet cabins as well structural components, such as spoilers and ailerons, for Embraer’s passenger aircraft. Being one of Embraer’s strategic partners in advanced air mobility, FACC is also developing and manufacturing the horizontal and the vertical tail and its moveables (rudder and elevator) as well as the aileron for the eVTOL from Eve Air Mobility, a company founded by Embraer.
FACC and Embraer also have an extensive R&D collaboration, focusing on recyclable materials, life cycle assessments for a circular economy and technologies for sustainable flying. That includes the development of a high-rate, automated manufacturing process for aviation, which, combined with a further weight reduction of its lightweight components, will further contribute to reduced aircraft emissions.
