U.K. Composite Cutting Technology Makes U.S. Market Debut
CAMX 2026: Sharp & Tappin Technology’s Compcut ACS 300 saw, aimed at composite test specimen preparation, launches in the U.S. via partner Measured Solutions.
Sharp & Tappin Technology (Holsworthy, U.K.) is launching its Compcut ACS 300 composite cutting saw into the U.S. market, working with U.S. partner and industrial supplier Measured Solutions (Greenville, S.C., U.S.). The launch builds on initial Compcut machine sales already made in the U.S. and establishes a dedicated presence for the product range in the domestic composites market.
The Compcut ACS 300 will be demonstrated live throughout CAMX 2026 at Measured Solutions’ booth, giving attendees the chance to see the saw’s cutting performance firsthand. Developed for composite testing, research and manufacturing applications, the Compcut range is designed to provide a safe, accurate and repeatable method for cutting composite materials. The compact ACS 300 model is suited to composite test specimen preparation.
Through the partnership, Sharp & Tappin says U.S. customers will have access to a dedicated point of contact domestically, backed by the company’s engineering and technical support in the U.K.
“The U.S. represents an important growth market for Compcut. Having already seen our first machines add value in the market, we’re excited to build on that momentum alongside Mark and Brandon [Measured Solutions] and to demonstrate the ACS 300 at CAMX,” says Ben Sharp, CEO of Sharp & Tappin Technology.
Measured Solutions also plans to display its Textechno Fimatest fiber-to-matrix adhesion tester alongside the ACS 300 at its booth.
