Anaglyph Ltd. (London, U.K.) announces that it has assumed full ownership of CoDA, a product previously owned by the U.K.s National Physical Laboratory (NPL, Teddington, U.K.) and developed and marketed under a contract agreement. Following the successful completion of the joint development phase, all rights, ongoing development and stewardship of CoDA now rest solely with Anaglyph.

CoDA emerged from a joint effort that paired Anaglyph’s expertise in composites software with the scientific and measurement know-how NPL brings as the U.K.’s national metrology institute. Over the past three decades, this collaboration has grown CoDA into a well-known tool used for preliminary composite design, earning the trust of thousands of engineers.

Following this ownership transfer, existing users and partners can expect uninterrupted access and support during this transition. Anaglyph will continue to invest in CoDA’s growth, building on the strong foundation established during the partnership with NPL. To mark this transition and correctly display ownership, a new version (3.4) was been released in July 2026.

Anaglyph extends its sincere gratitude to NPL for its collaboration, scientific rigor and shared commitment throughout the co-development of CoDA. This partnership was instrumental in shaping CoDA into the product it is today, and Anaglyph looks forward to carrying that legacy forward independently.
