Web Industries Inc. (Marlborough, Mass., U.S.) is highlighting its Precision Bias Ply solutions, aimed at helping composites manufacturers improve material utilization, simplify production workflows and achieve greater process consistency in automated manufacturing environments.
As composites manufacturers push for higher production rates and reduced variability, precision-formatted materials play a role in improving efficiency and helping downstream processes run predictably. Web Industries manufactures its Bias Ply products to tight tolerances in order to reduce handling requirements and support consistent part quality in automated environments.
Bias Ply technology is used in aerospace structures, defense systems, advanced mobility platforms, thermoplastic composite (TPC) components and industrial composite products.
At CAMX 2026, Web Industries plans to present its material formatting portfolio, which includes precision slit tapes for automated fiber placement (AFP) and automated tape laying (ATL) applications, high-precision thermoset spooling, ply kits and prepreg sets in a range of formats, thermoplastic bias-ply pads and spools, off-axis material formats designed for layup processes and multilayer insulation (MLI) solutions that have proven flight heritage.
