Cato Composites completes W8SVR integration, expands TPC portfolio
JEC World 2026: Under the W8SVR brand, Cato Composites now offers a wide range of tailored TPC materials, including customized fabrics, laminates and blanks based on UD tapes.
Cato Composites B.V. (Rheden, The Netherlands) has successfully completed the integration of the W8SVR product family — a range of innovative semi-finished thermoplastic composite (TPC) solutions — and associated production equipment. The newly merged organization present its broadened product portfolio and enhanced technical capabilities at JEC World 2026.
Full incorporation of all W8SVR activities and assets into Cato’s Rheden operations ensures uninterrupted service for existing W8SVR customers and enhances Cato’s capabilities through newly added, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing assets.
Under the brand, Cato now offers a broadened portfolio of tailored TPC materials, including customized fabrics, laminates and net‑shape blanks produced from fully impregnated unidirectional tapes. The portfolio targets OEMs in strategic markets including aerospace, defense, sports and leisure, mobility and industrial. The semi-finished products complement Cato’s longstanding partnerships with material suppliers and reinforce the company’s commitment to delivering high‑performance, lightweight and recyclable solutions to customers pursuing ambitious technical, economic and environmental objectives across multiple high‑end markets.
