The International Composites Summit (ICS, London, U.K.), a Composites UK and Fluency Business Group collaboration that focus on the worldwide supply chain for composites, announces a partnership with JEC (Paris, France), an organization dedicated to promoting composite materials and fostering their applications globally. Under this partnership, ICS and JEC will provide a platform that showcases the trade potential for companies from across Europe and around the globe within the U.K. composites sector. Facilitating international trade, fostering innovation and strengthening economic ties between the U.K. and global composites industries through targeted initiatives, intensive promotional activities and networking events are key goals.

With its extensive global network and industry expertise, ICS will leverage JEC to provide a platform to highlight the advantages and potential of trading with the U.K. composites sector, connecting international companies with the wealth of resources, expertise and innovations available. ICS is scheduled to take place from Sept. 6-7, 2023 at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, U.K. Through conferences, exhibitions and expert sessions, the summit will highlight the U.K.’s cutting-edge capabilities, advanced technologies and collaborative ecosystem.

JEC will support the event through its media channels and provide a digital solution for exhibitors and attendees to connect and meet during the event in September. This solution will connect qualified business partners with an aim of connecting composites industry buyers with ICS exhibitors. Support will be offered prior to the show and will help attendees plan and organize quality meetings.

“The partnership between JEC and the ICS represents an opportunity for companies across Europe and the globe to engage with the dynamic U.K. composites sector,” Thomas Lepretre, events director of JEC, says. “We are committed to unlocking trade potential, driving innovation and facilitating partnerships that will benefit the composites industry as a whole.”

The ICS looks forward to developing its relationship with JEC and the growth potential it offers to the industry.
