Exel Composites (Vantaa, Finland) is showcasing its expertise in continuous composites manufacturing, including pultrusion and pull-winding technologies for high-volume, performance-critical applications.

At JEC World 2026, Exel presents advanced composite solutions supported by its strong R&D expertise that serves a wide range of industries globally — wind power transportation, buildings and infrastructure, electrical and power transmission, unmanned aerial vehicles and more. Exel also highlights expertise in composite conductor cores, the central structural element of overhead power conductors.

“JEC World offers an important opportunity for us to meet both new and existing customers, discuss ongoing projects and explore future collaboration opportunities,” says Francesco Ierullo, VP of sales and marketing, Exel Composites. “Our team is available throughout the event to share insights into our technologies and application expertise, and we’re inviting customers and industry peers to an informal cocktail gathering at our stand on Wednesday, March 11, starting at 17:00.”

In addition to its exhibition presence, Exel Composites is contributing to the event’s technical program. Kim Sjödahl, senior VP of technology and sustainability at Exel, is participating in a panel discussion titled “Composites in Construction: Durability, Challenges, and Building the Impossible.” The session takes place on Tuesday, March 10, from 14:00- 15:00 at Agora 6.

Exel Composites is also a JEC Innovation Award finalist in the “Aerospace (Parts)” category as a partner to its customer Flying Whales. The collaboration highlights how advanced composite solutions enable lighter, stronger and more efficient structures for next-generation aerospace applications, with Exel’s pull-wound carbon fiber tubes playing a key structural role in the innovative airship project
