Dash Bespoke highlights SlipStream customer project with TR01 composite chassis
Dash-CAE spin-off’s end-to-end, low-volume performance vehicles, built around the adaptable TR01 platform, help companies de-risk ambitious automotive, motorsport programs.
Dash Bespoke, a spin-off of the engineering firm Dash-CAE (Abingdon, U.K) that has worked in Formula 1 (F1) racing since 2006, demonstrated its end-to-end motorsport, hypercar and supercar program prowess at the West Sussex-based Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2025.
The company’s work is backed by the road-compliant TR01 carbon fiber monocoque chassis, debuted in 2023 to provide affordable and versatile solutions — powertrains, custom body styles, interiors and more — for international OEMs, niche brands and motorsport teams. At the festival, Dash Bespoke displayed its first customer-built supercar based on this platform, SlipStream. According to the company, the mid-engined high-performance vehicle features a supercar-ready Hartley V8, in-house designed and built carbon fiber subframes, light alloy suspension and electro-hydraulic dampers from Nitron.
“Bringing a bespoke or low-volume performance vehicle to life is a monumental undertaking,” says CEO Tim Robathan. “That is why we have established Dash Bespoke, helping OEMs and visionaries to de-risk ambitious programs. Customers can benefit from two decades of high-performance engineering, composites and production experience, allowing us to manage the entire program from end to end.”
The TR01 is an adaptable platform to suit almost any performance car build. Using this platform, Dash Bespoke is able to deliver hypercar and supercars; race cars and motorsport projects, one-offs and exhibition vehicles; and low-volume niche and enthusiast builds.
Behind the scenes, the company is planning to increase the number of build bays dedicated to Dash Bespoke. This additional capacity will ensure its team is prepared for the requirements of upcoming programs.
