Auto EPCON 2023 conference calls for papers
Presentations related to a variety of engineered plastic materials and techniques can be submitted until Feb. 24, 2023, for the one-day event in Troy, Michigan.

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Detroit, SPE Injection Molding and SPE Additive Manufacturing chapters have announced the 2023 Automotive Engineering Plastics Conference (Auto EPCON), which will take place May 2, 2023 from 8 a.m. EST – 5 p.m. EST at the Detroit Marriott – Troy Hotel, located in Troy, Mich., U.S. Conference organizers are currently looking for presentations on engineering plastic materials for the following topics:
- Lightweighting materials.
- Sustainable material solutions.
- Solutions for electrification technologies, including batteries, motors, e-drives, electronic control units and fuel cell vehicles.
- Additive manufacturing (AM).
- Metal replacement.
- New materials.
- CAE/FEA analysis techniques.
- Material designed for improved noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).
- Structural materials.
Abstract submission deadline is Feb. 24, 2023. Material should be sent to www.4spe.org/AutoEpconCFP.
