Saertex expands composites reach with NCF facility in China

Saertex Group boosts presence in Asia with Saertex SCF China Ltd. in Pinghu, set to produce advanced carbon fiber textiles for wind, auto and aerospace starting March 2026.

The Saertex Group (Saerbeck, Germany) continues its global growth path and expands its production capacity in Asia, one of the key markets for composite materials. With the establishment of Saertex SCF China Ltd. in August 2025, the company has laid the foundation for a new production site in Pinghu, near Shanghai. Production is scheduled to start in March 2026.

Saertex Specialty Carbon Fabrics (SCF) China specializes in the manufacture of technical carbon textiles for the wind energy, automotive and aerospace industries.

“China is a key market for innovative lightweight solutions and offers great potential for our carbon fabrics,” says Roland Nowicki, CEO of Saertex GmbH & Co. KG. “With our new location in Pinghu, we are establishing a base that will enable us to supply customers in China even more efficiently and flexibly.”

The facility will be equipped with modern production technology for the manufacturing of carbon fiber noncrimp fabrics and will fulfill the highest quality standards. Customers will benefit from optimized supply chains, shorter lead times and improved availability of Saertex products in the greater Shanghai area and across the Chinese market.

The establishment of Saertex SCF China Ltd. marks an important milestone in the group’s global growth strategy and strengthens the company’s presence in one of the most dynamic and fast-growing regions for composite materials.
