Chromaflo Technologies opens colorant facility in Malaysia

The new facility supports customers in southeast Asia and serves as the regional head office.

Chromaflo Technologies (Ashtabula, Ohio, U.S.), global supplier of colorant technology solutions, announced on April 24 that it has opened its new Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia facility.

The facility, originally announced in December 2018, includes 70,000 ft2 of colorant manufacturing operations and warehouse space and an 8,000 ft2 office facility. This location supports customers in the entire ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region and is the regional head office.

“We are pleased to open our new ASEAN manufacturing, technical, and commercial center,” says Scott Becker, president and CEO of Chromaflo. “The Malaysia facility supports the manufacturing of our full range of colorant technologies, along with our broad range of products for architectural and industrial coatings, as well as thermoset plastics applications. We’re pleased to be able to offer local production that supports our valued customers in the ASEAN region.”
