Light resin transfer molding
Magnum Venus Products introduces its new Fast Flow light resin transfer molding (LRTM) system, which offers reduced injection times, minimal waste, and minimal post-processing.
Edited by Jeff Sloan
Closed molding specialist Magnum Venus Products (MVP, Knoxville, Tenn., U.S.), in this Digital Demo, provides an overview of its new LRTM process called Fast Flow, which is designed for high-viscosity resin systems. Fast Flow combines MVP’s Flex Molding Process with LRTM and uses a collapsible resin channel for faster resin flow, thereby decreasing injection time and nearly eliminating waste. Included is a summary of Fast Flow’s surface characteristics of parts made, injection strategy, vacuum strategy, and a detailed demonstration video.
