Microtex Composites (Prato, Italy) makes carbon fiber composites and prepregs widely used for structural parts, exterior panels and interiors for motorsports, automotive, marine, transportation, consumer and industry markets. The company is equipped with a solvent impregnation, a hotmelt and a unidirectional (UD) line. The company presents a new line of fabrics, Club Italia, to CAMX 2021 attendees.
Microtex says its fabrics are made of innovative yarns complying with the aging tests and processed with high-performing impregnations. The company uses raw materials such as linen, carbon, glass and aramid fiber and other high-performance fibers. Microtex’s quality system is also ISO 9001:2015- and IATF 16949:1-certified.
The company says its team of expert technicians and engineers manage the entire production process to ensure the customer’s concept is implemented to the highest quality standards. Microtex says the final result will not only focus on performance but also style, customized according to the customer’s needs.
