and compatibility with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins, the foam can be used for a variety of applications. It is compatible with composite manufacturing processes including hand layup, spray-up, vacuum infusion, resin transfer molding, lamination, pultrusion and filament winding. Core finishing options include scoring, perforating, grooving and tapering.

ELFOAM is said to offer high strength-to-weight ratios, good chemical resistance, superior thermal insulation, Class 1 fire performance and low water permeability. It can be rapidly machined with high detail retention and easily fabricated at onsite installations.
