Scott Bader (Wellingborough, U.K.) and Hans Claussen (Vøynenenga, Scandinavia), a supplier of composites, plastic raw materials and machines, have recently expanded on a previous partnership in Scandinavia.

The expansion will see Hans Claussen distribute third-party products, such as ancillaries and reinforcements, through its Swedish operation NB8 Solutions, alongside Scott Bader products in Scandinavia, thus offering Scandinavian customers a “one-stop shop” for their composite and adhesive needs. Scott Bader will also provide Hans Claussen and NB8 Solutions with warehousing services from its site in Falkenberg, Sweden.

Hans Claussen, a family-owned company established in 1889, will continue as Scott Bader’s exclusive distribution partner for the company’s advanced composite and structural adhesive ranges in Norway.

“We have a longstanding strategic partnership with Hans Claussen,” says Jonathan Stowell, commercial director for Scott Bader. “Their team has helped grow our presence in the Norwegian composite and adhesive
markets.”

“Our partnership increases our sales force and improves our level of service, and we avoid importing to Norway and reselling back to the EU, giving greater flexibility for our customers,” Jonas Claussen, owner and CEO of Hans Claussen, adds.

Scott Bader has also expanded its partnerships in other regions for composite product distribution including India.
