Loparex (Cary, N.C., U.S.), global producer of release liners and engineered films, announced in August 2020 that it had successfully completed the integration of specialty film producer Infiana Group GmbH (Forchheim, Germany) into its organization. The integration process, which began in September 2019, focused on maximizing synergies between the two companies, including building on existing strengths while simultaneously streamlining organizational structures and processes to better serve customer needs.

“Loparex and Infiana have been trusted market suppliers for decades because we share a commitment to quality and customer-focused solutions,” says Simon Medley, CEO of Loparex. “The new, integrated Loparex organization builds on this legacy by further optimizing how we do business, and by giving our customers a greater range of options and capabilities to meet their specific needs.”

The newly expanded Loparex portfolio encompasses direct-coated and polycoated paper liners alongside direct-coated, polycoated, blown and cast film solutions. A broad range of substrates and paper types, coupled with in-house embossing, coating, slitting and printing capabilities, allows Loparex to provide the optimal match for a majority of application. The company also offers solutions such as discreet and ultra-lightweight pouch films, liners with permanent antistatic equipment and air egress liners for graphic applications.

Further, Loparex’s global production and process development network is said to leverage the expertise of two technology centers — in Cary, N.C., and Forchheim, Germany — to support customers’ more complex application needs.

“The successful integration of Infiana into the Loparex family completes an important stage in our journey towards becoming the release liner solutions provider of choice for customers,” Simon Medley remarks. “We now look forward to beginning the next step in this journey as we continue to develop as an organization and grow our market-leading value offering to our customers.”
