In 2023, Global Composites (Alicante, Spain) signed a collaboration agreement with Composites Engineering (InCom, Alicante), a multinational company dedicated to the engineering, design and manufacture of composite kits for wind blades, in an effort to develop engineering and manufacturing solutions in composites and other advanced materials for different applications in a diverse range of industries.

Through this agreement, Global Composites is marketing and distributing prefabricated components made of fiberglass reinforcement, structural cores and resin infusion materials, which InCom develops and manufactures, as well as the engineering and technical assistance services associated with the naval industry.

In this way, Global Composites has focused on offering sustainable and profitable technical solutions, providing more complete and integrated services to its clients in this sector to adapt in an agile and competitive way.

“Although the development and supply of composite materials kits has historically been our main objective, technical and supply chain solutions have come to occupy a prominent place in our portfolio, giving rise to an entire new variety of products aimed at creating added value for our customers,” Carlos Vidal, founder of InCom, highlights.

According to the Global Composites website, the company founding in 2015 stemmed an agreement reached with wind power material supplier Swancor (Nantou, Taiwain) to distribute its products in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The resins manufactured by Swancor and distributed by Global Composites are mainly epoxy resins, epoxy vinyl ester and UMAR resins, which are modified urethane acrylic resins with specific properties in fighting fire.
