Direct Tool Co. announces series of initiatives designed to support continued company growth

Automotive, marine and composites customers can expect expansion in company personnel, increased product volume and a more intuitive website design.

In response to increased demand for its tools, consumables and coatings products, Direct Tool Co. (DTC, Southampton, U.K.) has announced a series of initiatives designed to support its continued growth, with significant investment in both personnel and site facilities.

Initiatives include the recent opening of its expanded warehouse facility, enabling the company to dedicate more space to developing its research and development (R&D) capabilities, as well as holding extra products to meet “next day” delivery needs of its automotive, marine and composites customers.

A significant proportion of the new warehouse space will be given over to product lines that are exclusively available from DTC, namely BAXT, which supplies a wide range of refinishing products to the automotive and marine sectors, and Aeronix Technologies (Southampton, U.K.), supplying tools and consumables for the composite manufacturing sector.

All products are available to order either by phone or via DTC’s newly updated website. The site, recently launched, has undergone a comprehensive redesign, says the company, to help customers better locate products and remain aware of offers and deals.

Additionally, the company is investing in innovation and customer service, with personnel being added to the product development, sales, operations and customer service teams.

Our new warehouse space means we can offer the widest range of products in our 30 year history and our new website means customer can access them faster than ever before. The new roles and departments we are creating are all focused on upholding our core aim, to offer the very best products backed by market-leading levels of service and support.”
