KRÜSS Scientific Instruments Inc. (Matthews, N.C., U.S.), supplier of measuring instruments for surface and interfacial tension, recently announced its membership with the Institute of Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI). The organizations plan to use their combined networks to further research and opportunities in surface science.

“I look forward to innovative possibilities that will result from our partnership and interactions within IACMI,” says Frederick Fiddler, KRÜSS head of applications. “Our expertise and knowledge in surface science when combined with the wealth of industry challenges and experiences of the other IACMI members will result in smarter manufacturing and overall better products for the future.”

John Hopkins, IACMI CEO, says, “This collaboration supports IACMI’s mission to provide production-relevant environments for innovation to reach our goals of creating low-cost, energy-efficient manufacturing of composites for domestic and international growth.”

KRÜSS recently attended the IACMI members meeting in Indianapolis, Ind., U.S. (Jan. 29-31, 2019), where IACMI unveiled its Manufacturing Design Lab at Purdue University.
