CEAD solidifies U.S. presence with new Michigan location

CEAD (Delft, Netherlands) announces the official opening of its Detroit, Mich., U.S. office, representing a pivotal moment in the company’s global expansion efforts. This strategic move underlines CEAD’s commitment to serving the U.S. market with increased efficiency and convenience.
CEAD, known for its advanced large-scale 3D printing, says it has had a strong presence in the U.S. since its founding, with a substantial portion of its clients based in this region. Robust partnerships with organizations including Airtech Advanced Materials Group, the University of Maine, Haddy and Additive Engineering Solutions (AES), have further solidified CEAD’s position in this market.
CEAD made its first successful appearance at CAMX 2023, where new developments were unveiled. At the event, it was revealed that Airtech acquired a Flexbot system, signifying a significant step forward in the companies’ collaboration. Additionally, AES announced that it is set to receive a Flexbot at the end of 2023, embarking on a new partnership with CEAD. CEAD also plans to be present at AeroDef and Carbon Fiber to further engage with industry leaders.
CEAD Group Inc. in the U.S. has been established to enhance client support, enabling the company to meet its clients’ needs, executing pilot projects and offering local support, with greater efficiency and speed. The new Detroit office, coupled with the hiring of local talent and expertise, will serve to ease and enhance the installation and implementation of the turnkey Flexbot solutions. In addition to Detroit, CEAD will distribute spare parts from multiple U.S. locations, including Florida and Cleveland, supported by local partnerships, including Composites Automation.
“Our expansion efforts into the United States is a strategic move to make our innovate 3D printing technologies globally accessible,” CEAD CEO Lucas Janssen says. “We strongly believe in the power of collaboration and are confident that this expansion will lead to more fruitful partnerships and joint efforts to push the boundaries in the world of 3D printing.’
