The expansion of wind energy is an essential building block for the success of the energy transition, and thereby creates the basis for new development potential in business and industry. Wind energy is a growth catalyst, the power surplus of which creates the urgently needed opportunities for the sustainable production of electricity-based fuels as part of Power-to-X projects, especially that of green hydrogen. Wind energy in Germany is the basic building block for pioneering transformative future technologies and new value chains in an integrated renewable energy system.
HUSUM Wind, Sept. 14-17, 2021 will provide fresh impulse in this direction, with new special areas, forums and congresses as well as the Partner State Brandenburg, which is providing strong impetus for the expansion of wind energy with intensive technology funding and ambitious objectives.
Main topics will include onshore/offshore wind, green hydrogen, repowering and recycling and sector linking and performance.
