CAMX 2022 exhibit preview: The Fab School
The Fab School, based in California, offers a blend of theory and real-time, hands-on classroom training in the fields of composites manufacturing, laminating and repair.
The Advanced Composites and Technologies program, offered at The Fab School (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., U.S.) provides students with occupational training required in the fields of composites manufacturing, laminating and repair. Coursework includes moldmaking, wet layup, core structures, through-hole repair, grinding and more, in addition to covering carbon fiber, fiberglass, epoxies, polyester and core structures. Completion of the course will prepare graduates for an entry-level career in aerospace, automotive and general manufacturing.
The Fab School was founded in 2005 with the objective of training individuals in a hands-on environment. Instructors are said to mix theory with real-life experience in the classroom, helping expedite education and create a well-rounded learning environment. Classes range from six weeks to six months, with some limited night programs available. The Fab School is an accredited institution, accepts Federal Financial Aid and Title IV funding and is a Military Friendly School accepting GI Bill benefits.
