In the dynamic manufacturing landscape, Sutherland Presses (Malibu, Calif., U.S.) continues to pioneer innovative solutions with efficiency and productivity in mind, as highlighted by the company’s servo hydraulic press and I-Press simulator.
In a focus on more sustainable manufacturing, the servo hydraulic press can save up to 80% of energy consumption. Its straight sides and four-post design offers high performance and flexibility, reducing or eliminating the need for secondary operations.
Sutherland also debuts its I-Press three-in-one simulator, which offers a hands-on experience with the company’s mechanical, servo hydraulic and forge press controls. Designed to be safe and intuitive, I-Press enables users to explore the deep bench of press features without intimidation. The I-Press control system is now available for retrofits on mechanical stamping presses and is compatible with Rockwell AB, Omron and Siemens hardware and software platforms.
With the I-Press Connected Enterprise feature, intelligence gathering and reporting are reportedly unlimited. Selected users can also be approved to access the I-Press control remotely, assisting operators or maintenance teams from afar.
