Anver Corp. (Hudson, Mass., U.S.A.) has designed the Anver JB Series Single-Stage Vacuum Generators, a line of air-powered, single-stage vacuum generators for situations in which intermittent vacuum power is desired. The adaptable, air-powered vacuum pumps have no internal moving parts and can achieve vacuum levels to 27 inches of Hg (mercury). The units are easy to mount, won't easily clog, and can be reverse blown to clear if necessary, says the company. The vacuum pumps can be controlled by a manual or automatic valve on the compressed air line, and they operate on 72.5 psi non-lubricated air filtered to 50 microns. Standard features include black anodized aluminum bodies, brass internal nozzles.
