Retrofit/Refurbish/Upgrade kits are now available from PHI (City of Industry, Calif., U.S.A.) for all PHI 20- to 50-ton manual bench presses. These manual presses are said to be the benchmark for short-run rubber and plastics molding, batch testing, material development and evaluation, adhesive bonding, composite lamination and development, and numerous other laboratory and light production applications. PHI offers this retrofit/refurbishment/ upgrade program for its older model presses so that previous buyers can update their presses, in kit form, to match a current model, extending the older machines' useful service lives. E-mail data sheets are available.
