CCP Composites (N. Kansas City, Mo.), the first to develop a MACT-compliant gel coat product, ARMORCOTE, in the early 1980s, unveiled at COMPOSITES 2013 a new gel coat called IMEDGE Fusion. The new product combines the benefits of the original ARMORCOTE with the company’s newer IMEDGE PCT product, introduced in 2006. The IMEDGE Fusion gel coat reportedly provides deep, rich colors, high gloss and blush resistance, yet it is easy to use and fully MACT compliant.
