Spread tow brand TeXtreme (Borås, Sweden) is releasing new versions of its fabric in multiple colors, in collaboration with Hypetex (London, U.K.), creator of the world’s first colored carbon brand.

Composites Technology Development's first commercial tank in the Type V category presages growth of filament winding in storage of compressed gases.
Compared to legacy materials like steel, aluminum, iron and titanium, composites are still coming of age, and only just now are being better understood by design and manufacturing engineers. However, composites’ physical properties — combined with unbeatable light weight — make them undeniably attractive.
