JEC World 2019 preview: Mikrosam

Mikrosam (Prilep, Macedonia) is showcasing its equipment and sample parts built for applications of thermoplastics for aerospace, automotive, and oil and gas, as well as high-capacity automated lines for compressed nitrogen gas (CNG) and hydrogen tanks.

Mikrosam (Prilep, Macedonia) is showcasing its equipment and sample parts built for applications of thermoplastics for aerospace, automotive, and oil and gas, as well as high-capacity automated lines for compressed nitrogen gas (CNG) and hydrogen tanks. Mikrosam can be found in Booth D51, Hall 6 at JEC World 2019.

Designed for the aerospace industry, Mikrosam’s latest automated fiber placement (AFP) and automated tape laying (ATL) machines can be used for fabrication of thermoplastic parts without an autoclave, including the latest multi-robot placement system for tool-less production. 

For customers in automotive industries, Mikrosam is presenting its latest equipment for producing towpregs, and for large preforms with towpregs with a 16-tow high-speed AFP. The company is also displaying a fast robotic and gantry ATL machine for structural thermoplastics parts. Finally, Mikrosam offers its high-speed and high-precision towpreg winding systems including experience in automation and integration for high-volume CNG and hydrogen tank manufacturing.

Other capabilities on display include Mikrosam’s software, prepreg making and conversion machines.
