Huntsman Corp. (Everberg, Belgium, 6/M31) is introducing a new RIMLINE HC+ PU resin system that is said to offer significant benefits for automotive interior vehicle design and efficiency. RIMLINE HC+ PU resin system is a two-part product that can be spray-applied to fiberglass-reinforced honeycomb panels to form what is said to be a tough, robust and long-lasting lightweight composite material. Such composites can be used for parcel shelves, trunk load floors, interior panels and similar parts. The system also reportedly provides high-quality edge finishing and reproduction of intricate mold details.
