KARL MAYER (Obertshausen, Germany) will emphasize its machines for producing reinforcing textiles, with emphasis on carbon fiber applications. The focus will also be on machines for processing glass, aramid and hybrid materials (e.g., carbon mixed with thermoplastics) based on yarns and rovings. KARL MAYER’s stand is also focusing on spreading technology, which can be used to homogenize virtually every type of carbon fiber used on the market. The machines can also be used to homogenize various types of glass and aramid and to produce yarn bands with specific weights per unit area.
