IPD system, robotic spray demonstration enhances composites productivity
CAMX 2024: Magnum Venus Products (MVP) presents several automation solutions, including a self-learning robot, an IPD system and several live demonstrations of its products.
Magnum Venus Products (MVP) (Knoxville, Tenn., U.S.) unveils several of its automation solutions.
In partnership with LestaUSA (Tea, S.D., U.S.), MVP is showcasing a self-learning robot solution. Visitors are able to watch a robotic spray demonstration, highlighting the system’s simplicity and adaptability with no need for advanced programming. Operators can teach the robot directly in a weightless self-learning mode, achieving precise control over every aspect of production. From gun angles to trigger pulls, speed and spray technique, the self-learning robot enables consistent and high-quality outputs. Multiple recipes can be recorded in real time and saved for future use, which can streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Additionally, MVP is highlighting its newly launched Independent Pump Drive (IPD) system, which provides accuracy and flexibility across various applications. The system can seamlessly integrate with automated processes and is designed with a PLC controller, main hydraulic unit and up to six fluid sections for quality and consistency. Operating the IPD System is intended to be straightforward. The company says that users can input their desired ratios for each material, set the desired dispensing rate and watch as the system precisely meters each component, ensuring consistent and reliable results.
Continuing its tradition, MVP is also leading demonstrations in the Closed Mold Alliance Demo Zone, highlighting the latest advancements in closed mold technology. MVP’s closed mold specialist, Charles Tur, is returning to feature demonstrations on fast flow LRTM and SVB seal technology, along with MVP’s recent collaboration with Elkem (Oslo, Norway) to introduce a tailored silicone product for flex molding. The recently launched brushable and sprayable silicone provides a comprehensive solution capable of incorporating a full array of accessories for optimizing the silicone bag vacuum infusion process.
