Ansell Healthcare Inc. (Red Bank, N.J., U.S.A.) is offering new AciTek acid-resistant gloves that protect hands from a wide range of acids, etchants and solvents. Designed for use in clean room environments, the gloves are made from 100 percent natural latex polymer, which features a "fish-scale" grip pattern on finger and palm touch surfaces that facilitates handling of smooth or slippery objects. Recommended for wet and chemical-resistant applications, including wafer manufacturing, pharmaceutical/biotech, and general clean room maintenance and production, the new gloves are chlorinated inside and outside and are available in sizes 7 to 10, in 350 mm to 371 mm (13.8 inch to 14.6 inch) lengths to protect forearms.
