Thermal engineering firm Acrolab Ltd. (Windsor, Ontario, Canada) designs and supplies thermal products, solutions and turnkey systems from tool heating and/or cooling design, to system integration design. Acrolab has developed Isomandrel technology for filament winding applications, which allows the client to cure while they wind, and does not require an oven. This technology in some cases, reportedly, has reduced cure times by 400%. Acrolab has also developed a technology to cure pressure cylinder liners from the inside out in a fraction of the time it typically would take. This process results in a higher quality product.
