The six topics addressed by A2LT's lightweight construction platform are:

  • Materials development, testing, simulation and design
  • Connection techniques, functional integration and hybrids
  • Preparation, production and recycling
  • Market, applications and life cycle management
  • System lightweight construction design
  • Accompanying activities such as training, public relations or roadmap lightweight construction

Among the projects being pursued by A2LT is an electric drive system for endurance racing. By 2016, a competitive car should be developed.
