ADMET Inc. (Norwood, Mass.) has announced the availability of calibration and maintenance contracts for new and retrofitted models of its Universal Testing Systems (UTM). The contracts will be fulfilled via ADMET’s network of calibration companies in the United States — local companies that will provide responsive service to customers. The new service is optional: ADMET will continue to make service passwords available to all customers, enabling them to choose to use the new service or contract with a calibration company outside the ADMET network. The contracts cover ADMET’s full lines of electromechanical and hydraulic universal testing machines, as well as digital indicators and controllers, extensometers, deflection measurement devices and other accessories used for tension, compression and fatigue testing. All network calibrators will perform services according to applicable ASTM specifications, are A2LA or NVLap accredited and meet ISO/IEC Guide 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 requirements.
