WARDJet Inc. (Kent, Ohio) premiered its M-Series waterjets, designed to convert conventional CNC milling and cutting equipment for waterjet cutting. The retrofit head's water-stream intensifier runs on available compressed air. A companion tent structure contains abrasive and water inside a supplied tank, making the system compact and self-contained. A self-flushing function removes the water, abrasive and any kerf material from inside the tank for disposal. The same programming used to run the machine can be used to generate waterjet travel paths.
