President of Marine Concepts/Design Concepts departing company

Company Chairman J Pearson will oversee operations while company executives and senior staff continue working with customers during the transition.

Marine Concepts/Design Concepts (Sarasota and Cape Coral, Fla.) announced the departure of company president Matt Chambers. Company Chairman J Pearson will oversee operations while company executives and senior staff continue working with customers during the transition.

Matt Chambers said in a statement: "It has been a great 10 years with Marine Concepts/Design Concepts. Due to family matters, wishing to live closer to family and taking in my father-in-law, I have made the tough choice to leave the company effective October 28th.

The new ownership, who are fully committed to invest in our growth, was the best move for the company in my tenure. We have purchased a new CMS 5-Axis CNC Mill, 67' x 27' x 14' and expect to be operational in March of 2017. We have implemented new process improvement methods along with many other items to ensure we grow and more importantly improve our ability to take care of our customers. I leave a company that is well run by a great team. I will miss our customers, suppliers, team and families greatly.”
