Vectorply Corp. (Phenix City, Ala.) has announced the promotion of Donald W. “Trey” Sawtelle III and Trevor V. Humphrey to a copresidency. The current president and CEO, Donald L. Massey, will continue as CEO and remain on the board to focus on strategic business issues. Sawtelle started with the company in July 1994, and in 1999, he was named VP of sales. In 2007 he was promoted to senior VP. Humphrey started with the company in 1996 and has served in several key positions, including VP of business development and senior VP … Albert von Hebel has succeeded the retiring Gerd Büscher as managing director at BYK-Chemie GmbH (Wesel, Germany). In his new role, von Hebel will be responsible for finance, controlling, purchasing, IT, integrated management systems and general administration. He has been employed in a variety of roles in commercial departments of the companies within ALTANA Group, the parent company ... Jim Ness has joined the team at resins manufacturer AOC LLC (Collierville, Tenn.) as corrosion and infrastructure market development specialist. He will work with engineers, specifiers and fabricators to expand awareness of AOC’s Vipel corrosion-resistant and fire-retardant resins on a global basis, says the company. Ness will be based in Portland, Ore.
