AOC announces management reorganization; Henkel wins sustainability award; SME issues call for speakers; TPI Composites adds personnel.

AOC (Collierville, Tenn.) has announced a reorganization of its global management team. Jack Roesle, formerly vice president of Global Sales and Marketing, is appointed to the new position of senior vice president, International Business. He leads the newly formed International Business Team of John Griggs, vice president of International Development; Stephen Olle, managing director, Europe & Asia; Peter Cheshire, managing director, Composites Material Supply, a UK-based distributor; and George Sutch, manager of International Operations. Reagan Stephens, formerly vice president - Manufacturing, is named vice president - Sales & Marketing, North America. Brian Parker continues as both Western Region sales manager and danaging director for Latin America. Matt Watkins, former plant manager - Gel Coats and Colorants, is named vice president Operations.

Henkel (Düsseldorf, Germany and Rocky Hill, Conn.) says its position in sustainability ratings was confirmed once again by the company's inclusion in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market segment of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World). Just 10 percent of the 2,500 largest corporations in the world are named to the DJSI World in an annual economic, ecological and corporate social responsibility review performed by SAM Indexes GmbH.

The Society for Manufacturing Engineers (SME, Deerborn, Mich.) has announced that it is calling for speakers for its Composites 2009 conference. Held in Salt Lake City, Utah, the last two years, the conference is moving to San Diego, Calif., in 2009. Abstract deadline is Oct. 20, 2008. Visit for more information.

TPI Composites Inc. (Scottsdale, Ariz.) has announced that Jack Henry and Steve Beaver have joined the wind energy company. Henry will serve as chairman of the Audit Committee of the TPI Board of Directors; Beaver will serve as TPI's general counsel.
