Meggitt completes acquisition of Cobham's composites businesses

Aerospace, defense and energy engineering firm Meggitt plc (Christchurch, Dorset, UK) has confirmed that it has finalized the acquisition of the advanced composites businesses in the US and UK of Cobham plc (Cobham Advanced Composites Ltd., Compass Composites Products Inc and certain assets of Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions Inc.) for $US 200 million.

The acquired businesses will be integrated into Meggitt's polymers and composites division.
