Cms North America (Caledonia, Mich., U.S.) is holding an open house event, called “International Limitless Technology Experience,” at its Grand Rapids, Michigan location on July 31 – Aug. 2, 2019. The event will introduce attendees to Cms’s multi-axis CNC machining centers, automated lines, deburring machines and waterjet cutting systems for machining composites for the aerospace industry.
Machine demonstrations, customer testimonials, and networking with Cms’s craftsmen and engineers will all be included in the event. Cms technical specialist Marty Sutten will give a keynote presentation on the importance of calibration and alignment in increasing accuracy for composite parts. Representatives from Autodesk (San Rafael, Calif., U.S.), creators of PowerMill CAD software, will discuss the impact that import mapping and digital scanning have on composite fabrication. Cms will also be showcasing its newly renovated show room.
