Utilizing Large Tow Textile Based Carbon Fiber for Sheet Moulding Compound

September 18, 2018 |

Presented By:

Carbon Fiber Sheet Moulding Compound has come a long way since its creation. Historically, utilizing regular tow fiber, leading manufacturers have had astounding successes with SMC processes utilizing large tow. This webinar will focus on process improvements that are changing the face of SMC for automotive applications.

Primary Topics:
- Developments in large tow carbon fiber making it an ideal candidate for SMC applications
- Improved processing technologies
- Future outlook into new material combinations
