Fibre Glast Developments Corp. (Brookville, Ohio, U.S.A.) has released a new downloadable, Web-resident guidebook entitled Vacuum Infusion: The Equipment and Process of Resin Infusion. A trial test kit, designed to aid the reader in testing and practice of the vacuum infusion principles contained in the guidebook, can be ordered at the company's Web site. The kit contains materials for three infusion trial projects, each with laminates as large as 610 mm by 330 mm (24 inches by 13 inches). According to the company, completion of the three trial projects should acquaint the guidebook user with infusion aids, including EnkaFusion Nylon matting, Lantor Soric, EnkaFusion Filter Jacket and Divinylmat Sandwich Core materials.
