SP (Isle of Wight, U.K.), a Gurit Group brand, has introduced T-Paste 70, a tooling paste designed to offer toolmakers in marine, wind turbine and automotive applications a fast yet accurate method to manufacture patterns and molds for large parts. When combined with CNC machining, the product is reported to reduce overall tool production times by 50 percent. The paste can be machined after room-temperature cure for 24 hours, and is said to have consistent density, low exotherm in thick sections and low shrinkage on cure compared with competitive products. spsystyems.gocomp.biz/33
