Coastal Enterprises (Orange, CA, US) has introduced a newly updated Precision Board HDU tooling board which, the company says, features a tighter cell structure and machines cleanly with chips and little to no dust during machining. All 15 standard Precision Board densities have a high durometer, plus strong compression and tensile strength capabilities. Precision Board Low Temperature features an operating temperature of 200ºF/93°C; Precision Board High Temperature features an operating temperature of 300ºF/149°C. Standard densities range from 4 pcf to 75 pcf. Sheet sizes range from 20 by 60 inches (508 by 1,524 mm) to 5 by 10 ft (1.5 by 3m), in thicknesses from 0.25 inch/6.35 mm to 24 inches/610 mm.
