Aardvark Polymers of Lambertville, N.J. has deve-loped three new engineered polymers for rotational molding applications: Aarlon 2000, a polyamide 6/6, offers good continuous service temperatures, improved resistance to chemicals and fuels, low permeability levels and favorable strength-to-weight ratios. It’s rated UL94-V2 for flammability. Aarlon 800, a polyamide 6, is a general-purpose formulation and conforms to U.S. Food and Drug Admin. (FDA) and several EU directives for use in food articles. Aartel 2000 is an acetal designed for a range of industrial, medical, automotive and other technology applications.
